She has worked extensively with neurodivergent children and young people and works part of each week in a specialist school for children with complex needs.

Play therapy can help alleviate children's emotional difficulties such as anxiety, anger, trauma , bereavement, loss and attachment issues.

Play therapy provides children with;

  • the time and space to explore and make sense of whatever they might be dealing with in their lives, and to build an inner resilience that can help them to cope.

  • Play therapy supports the idea that children have an innate ability to self heal given the right conditions.

  • Play therapy gives children a voice and validates their feelings.
